My name is Wendy and I live in Belgium.

About a half year ago, I discovered the new trend in photography called Trash The Dress.

These are very artistic photo shoots where the bride puts her wedding dress on one more time to get her dress trashed.

This kind of photography gives extremely nice pictures.

When I saw these pictures I thought, what happens with these dresses after the shoot? Would they be cleaned/repaired after the shoot...

Not always… cleaning and repairs are expensive.

My idea started to grow to save these dresses from thrown in the waste bin and to help people in need with a beautiful dress for the wedding.

I do like to work with clothes and fabrics and for me it’s a joy to restore these dresses back into good condition, so they can be worn again for another wedding.

You can’t imagine how happy these brides in need are when they can wear a real wedding dress on their special once in a lifetime day.

The dresses I can restore are being donated. The dresses I can’t restore due to severe damage, I use the fabric for other dresses.

If anyone wants to help me with my project, please feel free to contact me.

I can pay a small fee for the dress + actual shipping charges.

Donations of the dresses are much appreciated…

Thank you for your interest and I hope to hear from you soon.
